Meet the staff of The Adventure Church

  • Wally de la fuente

    Interim Pastor

    Wally De La Fuente serves as the Interim Pastor of Adventure Church. He is a commissioned pastor in the Reformed Church in America and holds a Master of Theological Studies and Masters in Marketing Management. Wally is also the founder of ReDiscover Television, an international faith-based streaming platform, and has spent more than three decades serving in ministry through preaching, leadership development, church planting, media, and mentoring pastors and ministry leaders. He is married to April and has 5 wonderful children between the ages of 6 and 29.He is passionate about helping people discover Jesus, grow in their faith, and live on mission together.

  • Justin Stapel

    Family Ministry Director

    Pastor Justin has been married to his lovely wife Tia for the last 18 years. Together they have one son, Isaiah along with a lazy great dane named Rocket and a tiny puma named Spartan.  Justin and his family love spending time outside camping, hiking, hanging at the beach, fishing, and bike riding.  Justin and Tia are long-time Muskegon-people who love serving where they are planted.  Justin graduated from Reeths-Puffer High School and then attended Trinity International University. Justin has served in ministry here in Muskegon for two decades through youth ministry, college/young adult ministry, and most recently as the family pastor at Olivet Church.  Justin is passionate about being a disciple who creates more disciples and believes strongly that discipling families is at the core of living out and sharing the gospel with the world around us.  We are called to live out the adventure that God has called us to and this starts with our families.  At the Adventure Church, Justin hopes to develop a community of families who live on adventure together as parents and adults who disciple the next generation of believers and help them live out the adventure to which God has called them.    

  • ASHLEIGH FOWLER

    Administrative assistant

    Ashleigh grew up in West Michigan and graduated from Grand Haven High School, Grand Valley State University, and Western Michigan University. She earned a bachelor's degree in Secondary Education with an emphasis in History and a master's degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). In addition to serving as The Adventure Church's Administrative Assistant, Ashleigh is an ESL teacher in a local school district. She enjoys reading, cooking, and traveling. Although she grew up in the church, Ashleigh came to truly understand what it means to follow Christ a few years ago. She is passionate about sharing the Gospel and believes every believer is called to make disciples. Her favorite Bible verse is Galatians 3:28. As Administrative Assistant, Ashleigh enjoys working behind the scenes to prepare for Sunday mornings and create the church's communications, helping people stay connected to all that God is doing at The Adventure Church.
